Megan's "new friend"

Remember, her tweeeeen had teeth in it!

Our favorite part was when it was announced her boyfriend was "Vegetarian", and she replys..."No problem, I'll make lamb!"

Staying on track, though, I always opt for removal of any lumps and bumps. My vet says the same thing, "lets keep an eye on it". My theory is, remove it, and I don't have to think about it again. Wait, and watch just doesn't compute for me.

good news

wonderful, well done puppy!!!!!!

My husband has one on the back of his head for, forever, a fatty tumor. They let it be. Your pup has a new bf and we call Steve's by the name of Eric!!!

As everyone said, just watch it and I am so glad that you are good to go.

Best,
Kate

You all are awesome awesome, possum :biggrin2:. Now I am debating over whether or not to have the "bad friend" removed. Even if it's not bothering her or doing anything wrong, I don't want to have to watch it forever like MissJennyGirl says!

Thank you dearest..sheesh, it has been one thing after another with my fur family :rolleyes2:

I feel the same way as Missjenneygirl. My parents' chihuahua had a "fatty tumor" on her leg that the vet said to keep an eye on and if it grows to get it removed.

6 months later it doubled in size, so we had it removed it. The biopsy results revealed that it was cancer. Unfortunately because it got so big and was on the bottom of her leg where there isn't much fat, they couldn't do another surgery to make sure they got clean margins. Thankfully, it didn't spread yet, so she went for 8 chemotherapy treatments.

If it doesn't grow back in 2 years from when she had chemo, then it's safe to say she beat it and is in remission. This summer will be 2 years.

After that ordeal, I don't take any chances with lumps.

I am waiting on a phone call back from the Vet to discuss having it removed! We'll see what she says.....I trust her judgement, she has been an excellent Vet for us for several years now :smile2:
