Thanks to all that inquired and suggested, there is a now a Member Map on the forums. On the blue bar below the header there is a link to "Member Map".
Participation is optional. If you want to be listed, you need to click that text or visit this link:

The instructions for uploading your information are:
1. Go to Additions at the top left
2. Select Add Marker - Detailed
3. Type in your name as you want it to appear (We recommend you not include your last name for security purposes.)
4. Select your location by either choosing a city, state, and country, or selecting your location on the map, or entering your latitude and longitude. (We recommend not adding the location of your actual house address for security purposes.)
5. Select the color of your marker (the color it will be on the map)
6. Select the Details tab and enter your Forum Screen Name and # of Shelties.
7. Select the Media tab. Here you can upload a photo of yourself or your dogs, an audio file and/or your youtube user ID if you'd like.
8. Select Preview at the bottom to make sure everything looks the way you want.
9. Select Submit
