I think your memorial is just beautiful Gloria! I'd definitely do something like that for my boys!

It is my shrine to their memory! I certainly gives me comfort!
It was originally a Christmas tree that Mr Chance would lay under. It was a natural to make it his memorial. I still miss him so!

Still waiting on some items. My dad is picking up my Amazon US items and bringing them back in Feb so I have to wait ages (photo frame, hanging frames and glass box). I got my cushions today.
Deska 'owned' the couch and used to toss off all the cushions, not just in my house but anyone we visited he would jump on the couch and throw off their cushions. So what better memorial than Deska cushions. The faded one was taken on a phone and the others on a camera. The little one in the front is actually of Deska laying on the couch. Tully was very confused by the cushions, now she's sleeping under them.
I made a shelf for Deska's memorial things, and put a false back on to put up photos. I'm still going through them to make a photobook so haven't put up many. I've ordered a glass box to put in his fur. Atm the fur from his surgery is in a plastic container and the fur from when he died is put away in a box. I used his collar to fasten his little coffin as it wasn't sealed. In front is a necklace with some fur in which I wear on walks. It was really hard to put fur in the cylinder so I've ordered a round pendant with a front opening so I can be more creative.
I ordered front paw casts when he died but I haven't received them yet, which has me worried. And the vet hospital said they'd do I paw print but I never received that either.

Very beautiful! A wonderful memorial tribute to Deska!
I also made a pillow of Logan and it is on my bed. So nice these types of memorabilia can be made.
It certainly helps during the loss giving you good memories to focus on...

I love the cushions!!! For Miko, I have a tattoo of his name on my wrist (in Japanese) - never thought about putting his ashes into it. I have a box with his ashes inside. On top of the box is his collar and tags (that he rarely ever wore). The first year, I put pictures up everywhere of him. Now, I have a picture of him on my nightstand and a picture on my bathroom mirror (so I see him everyday). Koji still uses a lot of his stuff, like bed, leads, toys, toybox, etc, so those are always around. Which now reminds me, I have a canvas print of him I need to put back up; Koji's too.

I love what you've done so far.All these memorials are beautiful. I like the pillows especially. Being able to snuggle into a picture would be so comforting when my pups pass. Every year I order coffee mugs for my husband and me with the girls pictures on them. That way I'll see their faces, and all our favorite memories every time I grab a cup of tea. York Photo does a decent job and usually has sales where they're just $4 a mug around mothers day and fathers day.
After my sisters dog passed away this year I bought special charms to put onto their collars, once they're gone I'll move them onto necklace or bracelet that I can wear. I also found a gem called spiderweb agate, and I bought a necklace with a nice piece as a pendant since Mango's nickname is spideywebs. I'm looking for a necklace I like with Honey Amber on it now.
