Miko's Health (updates and more)

Could someone explain what an animal communicator is? Never heard of that before. From the context, I suppose it's some sort of pet psychic/psychologist/dog whisperer?

Yes. I guess you could call her a pet psychic. She can talk to animals. Well, we all can. Just most of us can't "hear" what they're saying.

Cheryl, I'm so sorry to hear the most resent update on Miko. He lived a long wonderful life. Yes, his last few months weren't very good, but he was with the one he loves the most, you, so he was happy. I don't have many pictures of F-kap Sr or Sunny, and the ones I do have are old and not very good. But if I could, I would hang the best pictures up on the wall with a little tribute to them. What's your favoret picture of Miko? Pick the best picture how you want to see him today, how you think he looks there at the bridge. He looks so peaceful in his last picture with Koji. Maybe putting that one next to it. Hugs and lots of love sent you way.:hugs

Funny you say that. When I hung the agility photos, I put everything up. I have one of my faves, blown up on canvas. When I'm in bed, I'm looking at Miko. I started going through all my photos. I'm going to print them out as 4x6 and tape them on the wall in a collage. No frames, just simple photos. I'll post that when I get it up.

I can sympathize with the OP worrying how Miko felt about the forced move to Oregon. As I've mentioned elsewhere, I'm considering moving out of my house. The situation has been brewing for awhile, but has been brought to a head by the installation of a new heating system, which has resulted in the house feeling uncomfortably cool even at 75 degrees (and ironically resulted in a situation where the upstairs is frequently too warm to sleep at night).

Wife has done an about face and wants me to stay for awhile. If I move out, my marriage is likely over for good. If I don't..... I'm not going to base any decisions on Fasb, but I find myself wondering if he's too hot/too cool/will be unhappy if I break up the family and separate him from some of his owners, etc. I don't know what's best for me right now. I have no clue what's best for him. He's not showing any obvious signs of being too warm or too cold, but I dunno. And will being in a house that feels cooler (it's really not; heat pumps/efficiency furnaces put out a lower temp heat that doesn't feel as warm on the skin) irritate his arthritis? Probably not, but....

Really not certain what to do.
