Miko's Health (updates and more)

Hugs headed your way. I'm reminded of when an old cat of ours -- years ago -- started running into the walls and not eating. We took her to the vet and found she was suffering from multiple age-related illnesses, and we were grateful that they were able to ease her pain and suffering rather than letting her linger.

I'm so sorry that it sounds like you're rapidly approaching that decision point with Miko. Wish there was something I could do to help ease the pain.

Decision has been made. Unless something happens tonight, it looks like I'll be saying good-bye tomorrow. I must say, this has been one helluva crappy year. I'll be happy to ring in 2014.

I don't know when I'll be back, but I will be to post in the dreaded folder that I can barely stand to read myself.

Thanks everyone, for your support and advice. This has been one hard journey. Even though I knew it was coming, I never thought it'd be this hard. I'm as ready as I'll ever be to let him go. I just want him to be his old self again.

My thoughts are with you and your beloved Milo. Rest assured that you will be giving him a final precious gift, the chance to leave this world with some dignity and surrounded by your love.

it's been very hard to read the recent updates and I am so sorry that you are at that point- it's really brought back Callie's problems last year:cry:........:hugs
