Millipedes in the house

This is insanely morbid, but I highly recommend a Siamese cat for any indoor cricket problem. All my Siamese cats (my own and my many rescued fosters) over the years have loved crickets. The morbid part is that I would come home to find a sad cricket with one hind leg missing, being "chased" around by one very entertained cat.

At the cabin up north, the cats also take care of the massive mayfly problem during the hatching blitz every summer (sometimes it can be like driving through a cloud).

Yes, we have cricket carcasess with various parts missing during "cricket season" at our house too. Sometimes when Pumpkin(cat) is really pround of her catch she will bring me whatever's left and drop it on my lap

Oh my goodness! The millipedes are gross I don't know what I would do if I'd find this ON my dog. Thank God the worst insects you can meet here are the horse-flies but they can be extremely annoying. Poor horses

Shelby is definitely a breed of her own. The stinkier something is the better. I guess that is why she loves those stink bugs. I took her to play in the creek a few weeks ago. I could not figure out what she kept going after in the water. I walk into the water to look and she looks at me with a big dead fish in her mouth. She was so proud of herself. Do you know how hard it is to get stinky fish smell off your dogs face? Lets just say there is a reason her nick name is stinky Shelby!
