Missing Sheltie in IL, DesPlanes. Found. Now an Angel.

I am so sorry to hear this!! Is there any way to find out where they took the body? I hope I don't sound insensitive, but personally I would want to I.D. it myself...a week into our 'nightmare' (our Bandit has been missing for 4 months now), I got a call saying that he had been struck and killed, and that it was definitely him. My sister did some searching and found out where it was, I went to see for myself and although it was definitely a sheltie (or at least part), it was absolutely not mine.
 
I hate hearing this news. We have so much hope that our little friends can find their way home. This news is so painful for the family.
And we too, understand the pain of a lost loved one.

I would definitely want to confirm that it was definitely him. Can someone find the body to identify him? You never know, Just as Linda said.
 
we are trying to confirm but so far nobody knows what happened to the body. It was New Year and a weekend too... It could have been as easy as nobody wanted to deal with it and dumped it into nearest dumpster...:(

That's sad. It takes two seconds to snap a picture (unless is was too gross to identify).
