Misty hit the show rings this weekend for the first time and was a hit! She is completely unruffled by the show atmosphere and performed like she's been doing it for years. She placed in every class she entered, second and third right behind the top Canadian dogs! She LOVES her chicken bait and will frisk my pockets when the judge isn't looking. I love her happy attitude and wagging tail. She's earned her special chew treat tonight and a few minutes with a new toy before she removes a leg or the tail--her favorite pastime. Good girl, Misty!

Ann, what wonderful news for your stunning new lass. You have waited a long time for just the right show girl and now you have her. :) Her entrance into the show world couldn't have gone better...kudos to both Misty and to you. She obviously has gotten just the right owner/handler in you to have done so incredibly well starting out. There are going to be so many great times ahead for the two of you and we will all be cheering you and Misty on.

Oh my what a stunning young lady, and I am so thrilled for you to have done so well! You have indeed been waiting quite a while to go back in the ring with a contender! Can you remind us how old she is? That head shot is just precious, what a love.

Thanks, Sharon and Trini! She'll be one year old on June 29th. She's Rabbit Run Madeline from my dear friend Connie of Rabbit Run, and most special to me, is my Checkers' great great granddaughter.
