I think this is the first I've heard of Shelties hating the snow.

Poor Sca. How long did he stand there debating, snow, frisbee, snow, frisbee, snow, FRISBEE!!! LOL.
 
A good southerner does not care for the stuff :lol: but he lasted zero for resisting the frisbee.

He blazed a trail out and trampled an area to use the little dogs room then came right back the same path. He was not sure though

Here is while it snowed and of course another Sheltie to chase (at mom's neighbor) made it OK also

My Prima donna, Piper, hates the snow, but to be honest she thinks it is beneath her to have go outside to potty in any weather.

One of my Sheltie Angels, Travis, used to bark at the snowflakes :confused2: He never understood that he would never be able to herd those flakes.

Unless you have a good wind blowing out of the right direction, it can feel warmer when it snows. I find my house is warmer once we get some snow on the ground.

Doesn't seem like he minds it too much. I loved how he'd get a mouthful of snow when he'd get the frisbee. LOL. I can't believe he went under. LOL. It didn't look deep. Well, not that I can tell.

That was it then he wanted to stay in from then on. He did go completely under as there is a dip in the yard there :lol: I think he was dropping the frisbee to spit the snow out rather than biting it. However you can't just leave a frisbee :wink2:

Spitfire might like it but he alternates between I don't want my toes wet and soaker dog running in the rain. The boy has a poor understanding of moderation :rolleyes2:

I hope Koji enjoys the snow, although probably won't get too deep up there. Asta and Ally LOVE the snow, they've been in it twice. It is surely funny to see Southern California beach dogs discover the white stuff!! LOL. We are hoping to take all 3 to Yosemite this year if they get snow (they didn't last year).

It will be fun to see what Brooke thinks of it!

You should take him up to Mt. Hood if you want to really see him play in the deep stuff.
