Hugs to you!

There is never a day that goes by that I don't remember my lost ones. But it is comforting to know that their pain is gone and they are together and keeping each other company until we can join them.
 
I know how hard it is to let ourselves let go. I recently had to put down one of my cats, Chancellor. I had nursed him back from a dirty, skin-and-bones stray 9 years ago and received thousands of times the thanks I deserved. It was the most humane thing to do in the end, when his quality of life wasn't the same because of a tumor. It is hard, but in our hearts, we know the best thing for him happened.
