My Little Shanjen

I'm so sorry for your loss and the hurt you feel. As everyone says - remember the happy times, even if it brings sweet sadness. Damn the vet for their callous and thoughtless behaviour even worse to ignore your heartfelt pleas. Be strong.

so very sorry to hear- I know that you really wanted to be with her and I can't believe that the staff kept telling you not to come and that they would keep you updated. that just makes it harder but as everyone else said, Shanny is free at the bridge now.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss and the way the vet handled the situation. Although you weren't with her, Shanny knew your love and devotion. Find joy in the memories of your sweet girl.

I'm so terribly sorry to hear of your loss.
Run to Rainbow Bridge Shanny
Take comfort from all the wonderful memories you shared together.
Thinking of you tonight

I am so sorry for your loss of Shanny, and so sorry for Shanny's loss of you. But always know that although she couldn't see you the moment she passed, her heart was so full of the love you had given her over time...You were there with her. Just as she is still here with you, because of all the love she has given to you. Could she see you physically at that moment...No ! And you can't physically see her now....but try to feel my words....because of all the love between the two of you..will you ever be without her....NO! And she wasn't without you then nor will she ever be without you. Listen at nite when everything is quiet....you'll still hear her....you'll still feel her warm breath on your hand. Once you love so deeply....your never alone. Although she's now playing with all her new friends.....she'll be there waiting for you to come to her....God Bless You & Shanny!

Words can not covey adequately how sorry I am for your loss . Like the other have said and Boo's Dad said so eloquently, Shanny knew you couldn't be there, she knew how deeply you loved her and she understood what was going on.

Shanny now joins my Tyler and Rainy at the Rainbow Bridge waiting for all of us to get them

(((hugs)))

I am so sorry to hear of your loss of Shanjen. Losing one of our babies is always so hard because they are such a part of our hearts and lives. My Hamish died at the vets but I had spoken to the vet the night before (we were in the process of moving from one town to the other and I was already working in the new one) and let him know that he was to take no heroic measures with Hamish, who had suffered from pancreatitis for 3.5 years. The vet was a friend of ours from church and it made it easier to leave him in the care of the vet clinic, plus the senior vet was the one who had treated him when he was hopsitalized for the pancratitis first. I knew when I got up the next morning that Hamish was gone, even before my Mom called me to tell me. He had suffered greatly all that summer and I was glad that his suffering was over even though I missed him greatly and was not there when he went.

Know tht you were well loved by your precious Sanjen. No one can replace her in your hearts and nothing can take away the pain of losing her and not being with her at the very end. Keep her alive in your memories and your heart. Take the time you need to grieve for her, for grieve for them we do. Hug her toys if you need to or her blanket if it helps to feel in contact with her. Don't let anyone push you to hurry the grieving process or pick up and carry on in a rush without her. You will know in your heart when the time is right to carry on. Just keep her memory close.

Oh no! I just read this heart wrenching story about your Shanny.

I am so so sorry for your loss. Please know that my thoughts are with you.
