My Poor Pixie

Anne: I'm so sorry that Pixie has been through so much in her short life, and I know it must be hard on you. May God bless you both.

Well, I'm glad to read that it hasn't gotten any bigger but I know how you must feel having to take her in tomorrow. You and Pixie will be in our thoughts and prayers. Please let us know as soon as you find out. Hugs from me and the girls!!

Ann, my prayers are with Pixie and you. I hope her surgery goes smoothly and it is just a hernia. Poor little Pixie to be going through so much. I know how you must feel right now. My heart goes out to you.

I hope that everything works out for the best for Pixie, its so hard that she's battling through one thing after another. Hopefully this will be something easily corrected and then she can go back to a more comfortable, happy life.

Ann Prayers and great thoughts for Pixie !

Just an update on Pixie and her golf-ball sized lump. Tomorrow she will have exploratory surgery, during which my vet will also hopefully remove the lump, depending on what he finds. We still have no idea what it is, but we're hoping it's as simple as a hernia. It has not gotten bigger, but no smaller either.

Please keep a good thought for her. She's had so many medical challenges in her three short years...

Pixie will be in my prayers and you and your family as well . Poor Pixie has been through so much it's hard on her but on you as well. Keep up the spirits, Ann and please keep us updated on her progress.

Good News!

I am very, very happy to report that Pixie's surgery is over and she is fine. The vet found that it was a hernia, induced by her spay nearly three years ago by my previous vet. I will get to pick her up shortly, and I can't wait to have her home.

Thanks to everyone for the good wishes and prayers for both of us. I was more of a basket case than Pix!
