Oh man, you freaked me out. Chase had that same facial expression at that age, I thought the picture was of him!

I have recently acquired a Sheltie from my neighbor who was not taking care of him. His name is Thurstin. He's (estimated) 4-5 months old and a handful. We currently have two other dogs. Ringo ( Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier Mix) and Bonnie (Pembroke Corgi). The problem we currently have is Bonnie is the Alpha and doesn't like the puppy. We've inquired with a trainer but she's not been able to get back to me about dates.

Any tips to incorporate the puppy with my 4 and 7 year old adult dogs? Also, any tips for making Thurstin stop continually yapping at the Corgi when she's just doing nothing?

Thanks!

Jessica
Good luck, I don't know about much about having several dogs at once, but I do know that shelties bark alot!! Good luck and it
will work out,
Karen

I think his barking at the Corgi is him wanting her to play, Zak does that often with Maggie but he makes a hummfff sound. Maybe distract him and see what happens. He sure is a cutie- glad he is in a new home now and will be loved.

Welcome

Welcome to the forum and thanks for the cute pics. I guess just leave them to it, my sheltie tried to hassle my daughter's labs, but after staying with them a few days everything was resolved by them. You could initiate play time with Thurstin if he gets the others too annoyed - but then you may start feeling as they do!:biggrin2:

Welcome to the Nation! yes, they'll work it out. Usually takes a few weeks. Bits still doesn't care much for Beckon, but since Layla and Annie love him, it doesn't much matter to him.
