Oh, we find our shelties in all kinds of wierd places.
When not sleeping on an end table, Telly likes to perch on the back of the sofa. (think of Snoopy doing his vulture impersonation here).
Foxman likes to lay on the armrests of the couch - they are the perfect width for him to drape his legs off of either side.
Maisie actually built a fortress out of the dining room chairs.
Shanny loves the good life - she likes to sleep in a hammock. If it aint got no give, she doesn't want anything to do with it.
When travelling, Lad (our 15 year old collie/sheltie mix) lies to press himself into the tightest space possible. The tighter it is, the better he likes it. The small space in between the front and back seats is perfect.
Lessee ... that leaves Rocky, Holly and Kimmi. (oh, and Lucy). I'm sure my better half [Sheltiemom] can share some stories about them.

Sheltiemom, Telly looks great. I too have an extremely furry/fluffy sheltie. He is blowing his coat but has so much on his rear. I was afraid of using the furmanator because I was concerned that it would remove the top coat and leave his undercoat, which is the cause of the fluff. I am glad to see the before and after shots. it gives me hope.

preston, The furminator does not touch the top coat at all. It does only take out that nasty undercoat and makes them silky and soft...that is what it is designed to do...just the undercoat, not only that but Telly is even acting like a new pupper. He is even more snuggly and wants attention more easily. He can feel the difference in the lightness of his coat. If you do try the furminator and it messes with his top coat at all (you will know immediately) then just do not use it on him...I use it on all my dogs (9 of them) and the difference it makes it incredible
