No tippy ears here...

All those months of taping and they're starting to creep up. I don't want to have to tape them again and I'm pretty sure it wouldn't help. I started massaging them a few times a day for a minute. I don't think it's making a difference.

If it makes you feel better, and I know it will not!, Fluffy's does the same.

I have no doubt you did a better job on ears than I did, though. When Fluffy throws her head back really fast they appear prick. As long as her head isn't titled too far back they are tipped. I stopped worrying with them at about 8 months.

I'm like you though. I like the tipped look.

Justice's ears are sometimes prick too. If he is excited one will stand up, if he is really excited both of them will be up. He is the only one is his litter who's ears tip at all though.

Really? I have heard that some people can't even get their shelties ears to tip at all. I never did get lucky with a natural tipper. Smudge had tipped ears to start with, but they quickly became large and in charge....

...and prick.

Look at these bat ears. I never stood a chance.

See even with 10 months of glueing only the very tip is over. The girls have such nice ears. Better technique and better genetics.
Their ears never were up.

Aw, but they are all gorgeous:wink2: I'm quite excited now to discover what ears my pup will have.

We'll have to run it as a competition on here - what will sheltie pups ears turn out like!

That's exactly what Bailey's ears are doing. They're tipped if she's looking straight ahead or down, but as soon as she looks up at me, they stand up.

She has such tiny beady eyes and a little nose, so she looks ridiculous when her ears are prick.

all mine with tipped ears if they throw their head far enough back...ie watching birds over their head:rolleyes2: their ears flip out flat so they would appear prick...although its just the laws of gravity working with their ears...Thats why with showing them you want to make sure they keep their focus straight ahead and not looking up at you so it ruins their look with backward flipped ears:smile2:

The first picture is Smudge as a younger puppy. The next picture is of Smudge at about 8 months. Not much change.

Fluffy's ears were all over the map!

the problem with Bailey's ears are once they pop up (usually from tipping her head back or excitement), they'll stay up the rest of the day.

I'll just continue to massage them when we are watching TV. It helps a little bit.
