adding Cranberry was an issue but everyone else since - haven't been any serious problems.
I really thought that Jocu would be jealous of Destin
but..............
Dixie didn't really appreciate Jocu at first but she started playing with him pretty quickly and everyone loves Destin
awe soo cute.
Honey has always been around other dogs all her life, but she doesn't like puppies. I knew this going into getting a puppy. And she really hates nosy male pups. Mine is both. nosy male pup. She growls at him, she goes after him, she plays tug with him, they play chase together, he jumps on her back, she snarls, she rolls over to play, he steps on her, she growls.
Needless to say, Ruutu is 10 months old and the two are still working it out. Honey would never bite him. Ruutu takes advantage of her often trying to herd her and jumping on her back. Honestly, I think sometimes Honey needs to be more harsh with him.
They will figure out what works best for them. Occasionally Ruutu and Honey will both cuddle on the bed with me with no issues. We're in awe when they play chase, fetch and tug together. She loves him, but doesn't want to admit it.
When we go home to PA, my parent's other dogs (all which Honey grew up with) try to bully Ruutu (though, that will be interesting this next weekend since he's now bigger than them all) and Honey protects him. It's ironic because we always thought she didn't like him, but every time my 14 yr old male tried to dominate Ruutu, she growled at him. She never grows at him so it was funny.
