NY Sheltie Mom

Oh, and currently I am owned by 3 Shelties -- Timmy age 10, biblacik, Dash age 11 blue merle, and Bandit age 3.5 biblack. Copper, my beautiful sable baby, crossed the Rainbow Bridge in late October at age 13.5. We were told he'd not live to see a year. Copper is my heart and I miss him every moment of every day. I have lived w/ Shelties since age 2 and we became a volunteer foster family w/ TriState Sheltie Rescue in the fall and now I am a member of the Board of Directors. I love Shelties!! Dash came from a rescue, as did Bandit. Timmy came from a show breeder who knew he'd be too big to show. He is.But he's a lovey!! I am eager to learn about agility and how to get all that started. I just love the breed for their temperament, personalities and all the love they offer!! I love spoiling them! They are just furtabulous!!!

Welcome Amy! I think rescue shelties are the best. Glad you joined sheltie nation - it is the best website for and about shelties on the planet.

to have an avatar- you have to be a premium member,, nothing to do with post counts.
your bio - you need to edit your User CP- on the top blue bar, the first choice. then add to your user profile.

Premium membership also allows you to post pix in a thread- otherwise you post the link to a photo site like Flickr, Shutterfly, Photobucket, etc.
 
Welcome to the forum. We also have a rescue boy and know how rewarding giving them a second chance can be.
