Ok, ya'll convinced me

This is what I do...(and keep in mind that I bathe the dogs infrequently):

1. Day to Day Shampoo
2. After Bath
3. Thick & Thicker
4. Rinse it off
5. Dry, etc..
6. Spray Ice on Ice and brush!

And yes, they last forever. I bought a bottle of Day to Day and it lasted me 3 years (with 1 dog for the first 2 years, and 2 dogs for the third). I still have the After Bath that I bought when we got Bentley 3 years ago.

I chose the substance one shampoo as my sample because Trax is the red-headed stepchild that didn't get a coat of fur and he needs all the help he can get

Only thing is the bottle sizes of the trial pack are very small (2 oz) so they're not really worth it if you have more than one dog, IMO.

From all the raving about these products, I'm not to worried, I'm sure I'm going to love them and probably spend a small fortune on them. :smile2:

As others have said, these things will probably last awhile, despite their small size, because these products are highly concentrated, and you can dilute them without compromising the quality. I have a Spectrum One trial kit, and printed on the shampoo bottle is "can be diluted 8:1." I have a big bottle of the holiday collection peppermint shampoo, and that one can be diluted 16:1! I haven't used the Spectrum One kit yet, but I have used the peppermint shampoo a few times. The first time I used it, I didn't dilute it. It took FOREVER to rinse the shampoo out. Since then I've diluted it. I don't exactly measure how much water to how much shampoo I use, but I know I could dilute it even more and it would still clean beautifully. The nice thing about these products (even when you use them at full strength) is that they don't leave a lingering perfumy smell... even the peppermint shampoo. The dog smells very fresh and clean, but not like a scratch-and-sniff sticker, the way he does when he comes back from the groomer.

But like I said, I need to buy enough for 4 dogs and need it to last a while. Since I"m not to worried about whether or not I'l like it I'm going to skip the trial sizes and just buy what I want.

I'm personally going to keep using my current shampoo and conditioner, which I love. All other products I'll happily change to CC though. :smile2:

Cheryl, the Ice on Ice Leave In Conditioner is the spray http://www.chrissystems.com/shampoo...oming-show-dog-cat-leave-in-conditioners.aspx

And, yes, I agree that you should get that as your free sample. It was my first CC product and the one I use the most.

Ohh...sorry. I figured it'd say "spray" somewhere in the title. lol. I didn't read about what it was.

Is that the same product that's in the white on white trial pack?
"ice on ice ready to use". If so, I may try something else then. If not, then ice on ice spray is worth a try.

What's a good "free sample" to add to my basket?

Here's my options:
white on white
black on black
gold on gold
clean start
day to day shampoo or conditioner
spectrum one shampoo or conditioner
spectrum ten shampoo or conditioner
oc magic foam rinseless shampoo
show off rinseless shampoo
after you bathe conditioner
ice on ice leave in conditioner
substance one
thick and thicker

I have sable shelties and a mostly white Shih/Poo, so I bought a sample pack of the White on white combo and one of the Day to day. Everyone has had two baths since and I stil have quite a bit of product left.

For my sable girls, I lather up the white parts with White on white and leave it while I scrub the rest of the dog with Day to day. I rinse them thoroughly and use one of the conditioners. Rinse again. I use Ice on ice when I blow them dry and brush them. The white gets so pretty and bright! I love it!

I like the Day to Day shamppo (it's what I use) but think the After Bath makes them smell good (but not overpowering in any way).

Ha ha ha, I was thinking of doing the same thing...purchasing a trial pack

Ya'll won't be sorry. I ordered the trial pack, just before we brought Trapp home. And that was 2 years ago. That kit lasted soooo long, unbelievable. I still have a bit in the bottle of thick & thicker.

I use alot of white on white here,as Mia gets the benefit of it.She simply glistens after a bath. I could not imagine using any other product on her. The boys get white on white where they need it. Ruffs, feet etc.

That 10.00 kit will give you months & months of usage.Definately worth the money.
