interestingly, she never limped or showed any sign of it being an issue for her. I found it while grooming- trimming her paw fur/nails.
and even with the surgery/stitches, she never limped or showed any sign of it bothering her.
Based on many stories here, I bought some baby socks to keep it dry/clean and used vet wrap to keep it on her foot. that didn't bother her either- until I accidentally put the sock on the wrong foot- then she started limping and favoring the good foot with the sock on it. when I put it back on the correct foot- she walked fine like nothing was wrong................
