Piper

Poor Piper! How long do you think the cone will need to be on? For his own good, but man the guilt trip those eyes can send out....

Got a giggle over your mom... my boys would LOVE to have a Grandma!
I’m thinking at least until his follow up next week. My initial thinking was a week until I caught him trying to scratch it yesterday. It didn’t take much for him to do the damage that required the vet to go back and clean it up last week. This was done AFTER his first 2 week follow up. Granted it was the stitch she’d left in that was bothering him at that point. With the dissolvable stitches I’m hoping 2 weeks should be enough time.

I’m very anal when it comes to Piper’s diet although I think to myself I’m sure one crust of bread one day won’t make any difference in the grand scheme of things lol. And then my mom is forgetful. After a long discussion at the beginning as to why I was taking him off of all carbs (sugar feeds cancer) and the foods I was adding, my mom she still forgets and tries to feed him our food. Piper doesn’t get table scraps, I make or buy special treats for him or he gets fresh veggies. But he still mooches…can’t stop that! Lol
