Yesterday was Piper's first foray into the obedience ring, we've entered 4 trials and he completed 2 legs of the PCD. We completed the first 2 yesterday, 1 in the morning and the other in the afternoon. He did good in the morning trial but I was quite nervous and held the lead too tight, his recall was great (he's refused at home sometimes when I call him to front) and his stay was great. In the afternoon I totally lost his focus and he refused to sit at times but it was hot out and he was tired plus it was outdoors and he was the last to go. We definetly have work to do before we go for novice but I'm going to get him into an advanced class.Here's a picture of Piper relaxing after a very long day
P.s. Ticks were horrible, pulled 12 off him last night (I had used frontline on him so some were already dead)
