Playing Catch

Shadow never did that but he played "soccer" with my son: would run after ball and push it hard back with his nose and then both block my son getting the ball and try to go past my son's block. Lots of fun.

Our Casey played soccer. DH took him to a park one day and there was an adult team practicing. They thought it would be funny to let him play with them. When he stole the ball and was too fast for them to get it back, they didn't find it as funny. LOL! Tara will bump a soccer ball around with her nose all day. But she isn't quite at her daddy's level.

Our previous Sheltie loved to jump up and bounce the ball off her snout. It was like we would play volleyball.

Tara does the volley ball thing too. DH was trying to teach her to catch it. She learned catch, but the volley is much more fun.

Annabelle just fetches. And Clarabelle want NOTHING to do with balls. They are beneath her highness.

Cooper and Rocket play catch by themselves. They toss the ball into the air, wait for it to bounce away, then chase after it.

Fillion likes the small beach ball Santa got him for Christmas much better to bounce off his nose than the playground ball. We are now playing volleyball in the living room using the two recliners and table as the "net" with one of us on either side. I like the beach ball better too cuz although he seldom misses, when he does and it hits something (like the new tv or a lamp) it doesn't hurt it. Gonna order a big beach ball, that should be hysterical! Ooh wonder if they make large nerf balls? That could work and the air wouldn't come out of those...also Fillion tries to bite the ball sometimes and it will pop.
The only thing Fill really throws are his socks.
