Very glad he's home and doing OK. I hope the Benadryl takes it down in the coming days...that's always worked for mine. Give the poor guy a pat for me and a resounding OUCH for your checkbook!!!

Gosh that IS an expensive day. Glad he's OK and hope the benedryl does the trick. Poor pup.

Wow that’s quite a swollen face! I’d be shocked to see that in the morning after a night in the kennel too!

He is still a bit puffy faced this morning but more like he was when we first noticed late Thursday. He is bouncy and jumpy and definitely HUNGRY!!!! He ate his Benedryl without issue - he's probably like 'hey, at this point I'll take anything she's offering'. We kept him kenneled last night; he was flat out on his side and only moved his eyes for a long time. I was worried he'd hurt himself if he tried to move in his state.

So glad to hear he's improving! If it was a bite, that's quite a reaction he had, poor guy. Hope he never gets another one, but I'd keep the Benadryl on hand!
