Poop eating and clicker training :)

Okay so I have been working with Zak some on the clicker and figured he comes really quick when I click it, so why not work with him on the poop issue. I took a couple pieces of kibble and put them in my pocket.
Maggie would poop I would scoop it up and then Zak poops. I clicked, called him and he came right to me. After a 3 days of this he now ignores the poop and some times does not even go back to sniff where it was. One time I turned to click and he was just standing and watching for me to click.
Lesson learned, now I can't wait for my book to get here.
 
Sweet! Good job! I forgot about my clicker, I think I'll try it too. But the popcorn still seems to be working, at least 90% of the time Meggie turns away.

you going to find a clicker handy in all kinds of situations...

just one word of advice don't click to get his attention, say his name and THEN click just when you HAVE the attention going forward ... so when he is on his way but he looks at you you click right then for him looking at you and for ignoring poop, lol

ANY time he's looking at you first or doing anything but follow his poop obsession you can click and treat
