Pouncing

Okay, not feeling so strange after all. I always thought Miko may have learned his behavior from the cat I had for about a year. Um, I guess not.

He too would pounce on my feet or hands under the covers. He'd lick his paws then wipe himself. Then lick his coat too.

When I first got the cat, they hated each other. Never saw a cat spit/hiss until then. But 3 days later, they were best friends (more like partners in crime). They'd chase each other around, lie together, etc. I don't have any photos on my computer at work, but I should find some. They were adorable.

Oh yeah. I bought one of those cat toys that is basically a base, a rod sticking straight up, and a ball on the end of the rod so the cat can smack it. Miko got more play time out of that than the cat. And of course, the cat seemed to like Miko's toys. Strange pair.

But obviously I'm not alone. lol

My little Iris does not so much pounce, rather she hops around on all fours. If anything our tabby cat behaves more like a dog than she. 1 thing she did learn from him though is the habit of laying or sitting in the window sill!

Also because I was wildly impressed. Martingale collar=life changing!!! I can't believe how responsive Iris is now, although a few times she choked herself, the difference is absolutely like I don't have words.
Dog lovers toss those nasty prong collars, chuck those choke chains(aside from the select few who know how to use them properly teehee) rock out with the martingale.
My once mighty puller at a whopping 14 lbs, is now absolutely the bees knees to walk.
I really could not be more thankful for all of your help and advice!
