Prayers for Pixie Please

Pixie, our most senior dog at nearly 11, has had health issues most of her life. She began having seizures as a small puppy which we overcame with diet and holistic medications by the time she was 5. She hasn't had a seizure since 2009.

But last Saturday night, she had a seizure. There was no trigger, it was after dinner which is usually a quiet time for the dogs, and nothing has changed in her diet or routine. Since then, she's just been off. She's drinking more water and seems more stiff than normal. (She also has severe arthritis.) She sleeps most of the time but has trouble settling. We are going to the vet tomorrow to see what he thinks.

Please send good thoughts and some prayers for my precious girl.

Oh no! And she had such a very long streak without any seizures.

I really hope that this was just a one-off thing, and that she will be back to herself soon. I understand that the after-effects (soreness, stiffness, just feeling crummy) can be hard on humans, and I imagine it's the same for dogs, especially older ones.
