Preparing to say Goodbye

Dear St. Francis,
Two souls need your care today. Guide Shriaz across to the Bridge, please, and welcome him as he joins those who wait for their family. Comfort his Dad in this heartbreaking, and help him to know that sometimes what we must do for love hurts so deeply. help him to know that time in your place is unlike time here, and that to Shiraz, it will be but the twinkling of an eye before he races across green pastures to those he loves best.
We ask this in His name.
Amen

My heart goes out to you. You are going thru' the worst of all times with your beloved Shiraz. I hope that there will be a miracle for you both.

Your post was so written from the heart that it brought a lump to my throat. We suffered in a similar way with our Jess almost two years ago and the moment of decision was the worst point of my life, but the vet was so supportive of that decision to let her go that I knew in my heart of hearts that it was time. My thoughts and sympathy is with you.

Please let us know how things are. We are all here for you.

David

What a lovely tribute to Shiraz. I loved hearing all about him, but could hardly make it through all the tears in my eyes.

My heart goes out to you. Most of us know all to well the grief you are experiencing. I wish you peace!

A beautiful tribute to a beloved friend. It's a tough day for you, we know. Remember the good times and enjoy your memories of him.

Thoughts will be with you these days,

It was in no way a bother to read your tribute to your wonderful friend. He sounds like an amazing dog. Most of us here have had to make the decision you are trying to make today and we know how agonizing, and heartbreaking it can be. I have many shelties that have crossed the Rainbow Bridge and I'm sure they will be there to welcome him and watch over him when he arrives be that today or sometime in the future. May God bless you and guide you to make the best decision for Shiraz.

I'm sorry to hear about Shiraz's illness and the decision you are faced with today or in the near future.

Our shelties are never with us long enough.

My heart goes out to you. Such a beautiful tribute to Shiraz. The pain will be hard and the hole will be great. Hang on to those wonderful memories and in time, they will bring a smile instead of a tear.

what wonderful words from your heart, you are in our prayers and thoughts during this difficult time. I know I can speak for everyone on this forum we are all right here with you, beside you and holding your hand and giving you hugs. There just aren't alot of words that can be said other than i am truely deeply sorry and your tribute is amazing.
