Presidential Update

The Orange Horror weighed in this morning at 26.5 lbs. Still not where he needs to be but he is down over 4lbs or about 15% of his total weight! You can really see it though as his sass level has gone exponential and he gets Angus going more often including some chase in the house. On weekends there is a post breakfast beat down of Angus now (which Angus loves)

I'm happy to hear that you're having success with his weight loss. It will pay real dividends for him. The extra energy can get pretty entertaining.

Ideal is somewhere near 20 I think. But if I can keep him below 25 it would be awesome. Might weigh Angus tonight. He is close to optimal now but it would be good to know.

Good job on the weight loss. All of our Shelties that came to us as adults were overweight - more exercise, less food, and off it came. They all felt the better for it, too, definitely more energy.

Wonderful news Sheep! He’s definitely feeling better! Less joint irritation and more energy. I know this first hand as I’ve been dieting and concur with Calliesmom on the extra exercise!

Stuck at 26.5 so time to cut back evening food. So if anyone feels a wave of foreboding pass over them don't worry, it is President Spitfire hating on the world. Already this morning I got a look as Angus got some dropped scrambled egg, Spitfire was like WHERE IS MINE!
