We're in the path of the current hurricane to hit here on Sunday till Monday and I guarantee I'll have a Sheltie blanket for the whole time....already wondering how I'll get them to go out in a hurricane....
I can just picture that Ann! I’d taken Blueberry out this morning when a tree company was cutting down a tree. I had to pick Blueberry up and she felt it necessary to climb up onto my shoulder! It’s a puppy thing to her…was her favourite position to be in so when upset or scared it’s where she wants to be!Not always the small ones. I'll be wearing my little Ruffles for the duration of any thunderstorm, and earlier if she senses it coming with her Sheltie barometer. We're in the path of the current hurricane to hit here on Sunday till Monday and I guarantee I'll have a Sheltie blanket for the whole time....already wondering how I'll get them to go out in a hurricane....

not sure- I always thought it was a Dixie thing since Cran learned from Happy and Callie that those things weren't anything to worry about and Dixie came with perimeter patrol on high alert. Jocu sometimes helps Dixie when she barks and so does Destin but neither boy does it all the time during thunderstorms. Callie was afraid of thunder when I first got her but over the years as her hearing went, she wasn't as bothered anymore.YesPiper would no doubt join it too!
