I've never fed TOTW, but I just wanted to say that you control the weight on a higher protein diet by feeding less. Because its higher protein, they don't need nearly as much food. My three aren't terribly active but I haven't had too much trouble maintaining healthy weights. Toby's a bit of an exception, but thats because the medication he's on causes weight gain.
 
The same with Max, his medication makes him gain weight also. How. iChat kibble do you give and what so you give them?
 
Nothring wrong with TOTW, but I would keep to a protein level below 30%.

In my research for my boy, I'm seeing more and more ties to hypo and kidney/liver issues....both of these required a lower protein. TOTW is the one of the few grain frees (which is good for hypo, bts) that has lower protein formulas.
 
How much should I be giving him. They say 2 1\ 2 cups per day? It seems a lot but because of him meds he is knows his feeding times! Lol my husband swears he can read time! Lol
