Puppy Height and Weight

Gussy Gus at almost 11 months:

Height: 18 1/2
Weight: 40 pounds

Yes, 40 pounds! :uhoh:

Yikes! We need to see pictures of Goliath (ooops! I mean Gus!) :wink2:

The good news is that 11 months, he's probably done his growing (upwards that is!). But you'll need to watch that weight, he may still bulk up some more.

Brab: I swear I'm going to cinch his waist and bind his feet! No wonder people on the street ask if he's a Collie! :uhoh:

Pics are coming...

PS: At last vet check, about 6 weeks ago, he weighed 40 pounds as well. She said he's fine, but definitely a "big boy." Pumpkin and carrots, here we come!

Aonghus is 15 months old today, stands 16" and weighs 24 pounds. He is all muscle and very little fat, but I have to watch him, he would eat from sunup to sundown if I let him!

Marius is 1 1/2 years old
25.5 lbs
15.25" (close enough anyways)

Pandora (we have taken to calling her Panda or Panda Bear btw)
9.5 weeks
3.2 lbs
8.5"

I think they are both normal. I always though Marius was a bit on the small side because there is a pack in town that I see walking once in awhile and they seem much larger, but I think they are always poofed up.

Whiskey back from his 12 week check up and boosters, haven't measured him as he refuses to stand still for me, but I'll post his last two weights. Makes me wonder if he's going to be large like his sire or smaller like the dam...hmm..

9 weeks 5.05lb
12 weeks 7.5 lbs

I actually counted how many weeks old Duncan is... 33 weeks.

33 weeks
12.5" tall
12.5 lbs

My little boy... that's okay. I was hoping he wouldn't be too big, as our Papillon is small.

Bailey was the same height and weight at his age. She actually had a little growth spurt at 38 weeks (last weekend). She's now 13 inches. I don't know her weight, but she does feel a little heavier, so I assume she's 13 pounds.

I'm starting to feel like I'm on the wrong forum! :smile2:

I just went back and checked my records: at almost 4 months Gus weighed in at 17.8 pounds. :eek2:

Of course, he now weighs 40 lbs. He'll be a year old March 11.

Never can tell for sure with shelties until they finish growing...sometime between 6 months and 12 months of age!

At the vet's office on 2/16/2010 at just a smidge over 11 weeks old the girls weighed:
Holly - 7.5 lbs
Pearl - 8.5 lbs (who knew! She doesn't look any bigger than Holly!)

Its hard to measure height on them as they were squirming, but they appear between 9.5 and 10". I checked on the weight/height charts for predicting size here:
http://bowlingsite.mcf.com/size/size.html

Which predicts that Holly will be in-size and Pearl is at the edge of being over-sized.
