Puppy Road Trip

I made it home yesterday (finally!).
I was at the Grand Canyon Friday morning early to minimize the heat, and Barstow by evening.
It was HOT!!! 110 at the only rest stop in the middle of the AZ/CA desert. Pico was not pleased with that one.
A whole lot of nothing....except trucks.

One odd thing.. the Barstow hotel had a breakfast buffet.
pretty normal stuff like yogurt, fruit, toast, cereal. and the waffle maker with a batter dispenser.
They had sausage patties, French toast strips, and these things that looked like fried breakfast burritos.
Now I have been at A LOT of motels the past 5 weeks and they are pretty similar with breakfast options (some have more than others, some no hot food).
So no eggs was a surprise, but I figured it was a breakfast burrito (they had taco sauce in the condiment tray).

NOT! They were large egg rolls !!!!!!
 
I need to dig out the tent for this weekend.
It is actually not too old and never used (I got is replaced by big Agnes because the floor de-laminated on Gavin's last trip)
Pico is a tad clingy at the moment :P

that selfish was one of over 100 I tried to take....only as few were OK. He isn't a great poser yet
