quarantine bath time

i Really miss the pet store washing stations and my back does too!

I've been sending them to the groomers just for baths, but the wait times are so long now. And poor Tully, I'd waited 2 months for her to have a bath after getting fleas in Melb, then she got pushed off the stairs by Della and I had to cancel her appointment and now I'm waiting another 2 mths. As for Della, well she doesn't let me brush her anyway.

I"ve been icing it and elevating the foot. pretty sure I will loose the toenail.
good thing I'm not working for a few weeks, huh?

and Gavin is gonna need some combing tonite after he dries out, the big fluffball
he really is a swetheart. gotta love those seniors!!!

That must've been a doozie of a stub! I'd say no walks for a few days at least! I hope it feels better soon!

Yow that's a heck of an injured toe! Amazing how painful toes can be. I got a blister on my little toe from all the walking I'm doing and today I was hobbling around on our morning walk with the dogs. Even with a bandaid every step was painful. Yep it's a good thing you're not having to go to work.

Sounds very painful. Just take it easy for a few days, I'm sure Gavin will enjoy looking after you!
I love grooming them when they are in the damp/dry fluff ball state, it's kind of therapeutic haha

What a good pup! I miss the pet store tubs too! I just can’t do it in the tub at home - plus all the clean up!!!!

Talking about jumping out of the tub, Shelby got loose in the pet store once and was running down the isles to get away from us. We were yelling to watch the doors so she wouldn’t run outside. She ran right up to some stranger hoping he would help her get free from getting a bath. Nice try Shelby - didn’t work did it

the pet store where my shelties have gotten baths- it has a separate room with a door so even if they got out of the tub, they wouldn't get far......
