Question for you sheltie owners

Can you get the green machine and the h20 mop at Amazon? We were going to clean our living room carpet (thanks, Smudge! :rolleyes2:), but I would rather buy than rent a machine.
 
I would recommend having a metal stairgate. I used mine across the kitchen doorway, it meant accidents were kept to a room that was easily cleaned. Cadbury of course came into the rest of the house, but most of the time was in the kitchen (very busy place in our house!). Also I used it to build up the time he could be left at home alone by leaving him in the kitchen while I went to another room.

The kitchen was also a safe place for him, with easy access outside.

Jessica I don't know that you'd want to clean a whole room with the green machine. It's a very small portable cleaner. You'd have to be on your hands and knees or bending over. If it's not a real big room it might be fine. I use it only for those puppy (or me spilling things) accidents and it also works great for cleaning carpet and upolstery in the car. It probably is available at Walmart but I don't know about Amazon. It's pretty popular so shouldn't be too hard to find.
 
I brought a Bissell Pet Steam Cleaner. Well worth the cost. Even though it is not as thorough as a professional clean I am amazed how dirty the steaming water is that gets sucked up. Even though I have a dyson vacuum the steam cleaner is great for those inground marks.

BTW - while we are on vacuums, has anyone used one of these vacuum attachments for vacuuming your dog?
