thanks guys. he is doing well with the other 2 dogs and they play. and ya i have the humping issue the 2 males actually, maybe i have gay dogs lol. he is very loving and sweet just shy. and ya he does make izzy look like she is a minature toy sheltie instead a regular sheltie. im not used to a dog this big and he is well behaved except he can be hyper, but i gotta watch food now on the stove, not that i have cooked since he has been her but he could jump up and grab food out of the frying pan he is that tall. he is so beautiful. i do plan on keeping him unless something goes totally haywire. when i get his rabies shot and get him registered im gonna see what the vet says. i know sheltie behavior, i guess i should look up collie behavior too. i get mixed comments on collie or sheltie. never heard aussie before, but they are goregous dogs too. i know he has some seriously thick tail fur. maybe ill try to get some more photos of his tail. instincts tell me he is a collie. but i guess on the good part, he has this low deep big dog bark. it would scare someone off hehe!

How prominant is his "step" for his nose. I don't know much about collies, but I do remember something like collies there isn't really a prominant "step" from the head to the nose, where with Shelties they have one.

that im not sure about, i know he has a very long snout. i THINK i know what you are talking about? i ran my finger down charlies head and snout and there is no drop? jake i felt a drop slightly. does that make sense. ya i think this is a collie.

he is pooping in the basement, everywhere and all over my clothes i have on the floor for laundry. (ya that'll teach me to leave laundry to do) im so gonna need some tips here. i was told he was a sheltie and housebroken, um well i dont think any of the above are true. so know i got SUPER turds all over the basement. and i got to get a huge crate for him if im going to go that route. wonder if he is actually 10 or 11 months like she said.

but ya, i think he lost his home because he pooped all over everything. well i guess this will take my mind off of my friend that was murdered. i got half a hourse size dog here to try to train wish me luck.
