Rambunctious... at the oddest of times.

Sometimes I think another dog can bring these things out. Piper used to be good...
Riley taught Finnie to bark when the phone rings or when I'd leave the house.
The more you have the more they bark lol!
Lisa - I am pretty sure - you are absolutely right about this

That is why I only have one dog :ROFLMAO:

After all, I have spent all my time on socializing Minnie
and have no doubt it is this - which have given bonus at some point.

I can still wonder - that she can run off leash on the beach
and show no interest - for the birds or runners running right past us

I thought of another one. Cody gets all worked up and barks when I look under the bed. Years ago I had a cat that would hide under the bed and apparently he still thinks that she is under there! She has been gone for 8 years, but he still remembers her hiding under the bed!

The coffee grinder hysteria from Faith has escalated to the point where if she hears the plastic bag of flax seeds being unwrapped (even if she's at the other end of the house) she comes running and barking. Oy vey it's a good thing they are cute! :rolleyes2:  And I have Ally to thank for this behavior.

I thought of some more too:
Hammers
Post pounders
Post hole diggers/shovels/hoes....
Most power tools/saws, drills

After all, I have spent all my time on socializing Minnie
and have no doubt it is this - which have given bonus at some point.

I really don't think its a lack of socialization. He's been around these things since he was a tiny pup, and he isn't scared! I just think he wants to join in the fun!

With my boys they of course get excited because they think I'm doing something for them. It's gone from using the food processor to the kitchenaide, to any kitchen appliance to even taking carrots out of the fridge. All these things are things I've done while making their food or cookies.
With my guys it's anticipation...they've seen me do it before when doing something for them therefore I must be doing something for them now. Aha...but I do have one ace up my sleeve...they have a very good down stay so if I don't want to listen to them barking I tell them down and peace and quiet.thye do of course get treats for waiting patiently.
