So as I walking Riley this evening, he suddenly went lame in his back left leg. And I'm talkig about holding up rear paw lame and hopping a bit. Then he just lay down. He did go potty in between all this. I was worried, so I carried him back inside and went over all his paws and legs.... No warmth, no swelling, no helping, & nothing lodged in his fur/pads. Once I let him go, he ran over and grabbed a toy
no limping. Now it is about 16 outside and there is snow/ice. Maybe his paw got too cold or some ice lodged in there and melted?
I'm always worried about that leg actually since his paw turns inward a little (hopefully won't effect agility too much.....), so I watch for stifle (knees) and hock and hip problems. Especially since my previous dog (lab) had hip dysplasia.
Am I worrying for nothing?
