He's gotten so big! Such a cutie though! I have a big one (Finnie is about 17 1/2" and 30 pounds) and a small one (Piper 13 3/4" and 20 pounds ) and while I did pick Piper up a lot he's not much of a cuddler whereas Finnie (who's always been afraid of being picked up) is a big cuddler and is on my lap every chance he gets! I like the smaller ones but love that Finnie cuddles so much.

Yes, he is wildly big,
it is unbelievable that there can be such a big difference in the same litter,
the others had normal sizes within the standard.

Are there genes from a Collie in the breed ??

I recall Pipers litter...there was a male that went over so +17" and there's Piper at 13 3/4"
