I also went and got Chandler some boots so when he knuckles under he doesn't scrape up the top of his feet. He doesn't mind them at all. I only put them on his rear feet because that's where he was affected.

omg that's terrible! I am so sad and worried for you Melissa!! We will keep Sadie in our prayers. I'm sure she will get better soon. I don't know if it will help but for Romeo's spinal nerve problem we were told by our holistic vet to give him ginkgo biloba - something about helping to regenerate nerves. If you want some and can't find any over where you are, you just let me know and I'll mail 'em right over. Same goes for you to dawn2shelties.
Hugs to Sadie from us. :(

Thanks for the suggestion. What dose is recommended for a 35lb. sheltie?

Melissa, I am so sorry. I hope she feels better soon and that it is something she can easily recover from. Maybe this is why Sadie wouldn't eat?

My thoughts and prayer and with you and Sadie.

Melissa I am thinking and praying so hard for you and your family right now. I pray that you figure out exactly what's wrong with Sadie.

How is she doing today?

*hugs*

Oh Melissa.....my heart is breaking for you right now.

I have no suggestions, just that I hope that Sadie comes out of this OK, with no bad side effects.

You and Sadie are in my thoughts and prayers.

Danielle

I am so sorry to hear this and sending along prayers for a quick recovery with no side effects. How very scary for you and for Sadie.

Sadie is the same today and VERY scared. No luck in helping her potty yet. She must have to really go but is just so scared, she keeps shaking and she's not normally a timid dog.

Going to just show up at the vets office now. Will let you know what she says.

I'm going to just show up at work with her this afternoon whether they like it or not. If the owner of the company's blind dog is allowed to walk around all day walking into walls and tripping people (poor dog, makes me so mad, he should be confined to and office) then they can deal with Sadie quietly laying in a corner for at least an afternoon.

Oh no, I am so sorry for you all, I know when Deska was diagnosed with DJD I was devasted and was brought to tears so I can just imagine how heart wrenching this is for you. Fingers crossed and prayers that this will resolve.
