Yep, he was my very first dog whatsoever. My mom bought me a puppy when I was a kid but it was only mine when it pooped so that didn't count LOL

I am so sorry to hear of Smokey's passing. It sounds like the 2 of you had an amazing relationship. I know how special your first pup is. They always hold that special place in your heart.

I hope you are doing OK today.
Thanks everyone! I'm feeling much better about it a week later. I miss him terribly of course but it was right to not let him suffer anymore. It's gonna take a while to clean up the house though. He was bleeding so much that there's blood in all the carpets in spots and it was on my dust ruffle of my bed and who knows what else.
