Hello all, my name is Mitzi and I am from Greenwood SC. I have two shelties, a one year old girl (Heidi) and a six month old boy (Michael).
I have never in my life enjoyed a pet like we do Heidi, which is why we
decide on another, Michael. Which I am having so much problems trying to house break!! Heidi was house broke within 5 months! Do not understand what I am doing wrong. :no: Thanks so much for allowing me to join this group. Mitzi
 
Welcome, Mitzi! We're happy to have you here on the Forum. We love pictures so share some of your pups when you can. We'll try to help you with housebreaking. Patience and training is the key! :yes:

Ah those pesky lil pups that refuse to potty outside. I have one...Savannah, she gave me fits...my others trained quick, fast, easily....but Savannah wasn't really trustworthy until almost 9 mths old...and I really thought she wouldn't EVER learn. It was a constant challenge. I have never had a male, but all I can say is keep at it, and be consistent, and limit freedoms until Michael gets the concept. Good luck!!!
 
Hi Mitzi and welcome. I had some issues with training my Lacey. She was pretty good, but would hide and poop in the house for a while. Then she just stopped. I don't know why she did it or why she stopped either, but she is fully house trained now. We did have a few issues during the July 4th fireworks everywhere, but since most of the fireworks have finally stopped she is good again.

Oh and we LOVE pictures!!!
