Seamus angel

Kate there is a reason for everything, and what you did today only proves the point. They are not just in our hearts, there everywhere we are. I will wipe the tears away but never the love :)
Happy Birthday Steve. . .

Thank you for a great story!

On Monday, I walked into the kitchen to grab a pen and paused at the desk and picked up a plaque that had a picture and prayer (Faithful Friend) of our angel "Keesha" (1991-05). Her Birthday was Sept 1st. I set it down and went on with the day (keeping her in my thoughts). That afternoon, I went up to the edge of our property to clear out some dead weeds. As I was raking, I saw a familiar sight...It was a long lost bandana that Keesha wore around the holidays. I took it back to the house (crying my eyes out) and put it in with some laundry. That night after my wife got home, she went in to throw another load in the washer and found it. She came out and asked me were it came from. Fighting back the tears, I told her. She started crying and went on to tell me the night before she was on her computer looking for a picture for her mom when she came upon a picture of Keesha in front of the Christmas tree wearing that very bandana.

It's funny how the real special ones find a way to remind you of them.

It is my turn to cry, what an inspired story and how touching. They do find a way.

You were all on team Seamus last year and I will never forget the words of encouragement and loving support. This first anniversary to remember our Famous Seamus will be the most difficult. I miss his face so much, his brand of silliness, I miss sloppy kisses and loosing the brush in his thick hair and the tilt of his head in puzzlement when he farted. I miss the wind in his hair as he ran the beach at Wildwood with the biggest smile on his sweet face and his sheer delight as he jumped into the ocean and dried himself in the sand. I remember my Seamus and all of you and I am thankful for nations of sheltie members who care.

Hugs,
Kate :hugs
