Shampoo and conditioners..

What is a good, shampoo, conditioner and leave in conditioner brand? I have been using comfort shampoo from the vet. I bathe them every 6-8 weeks
 
I love Buddy Wash Lavender and Mint. The shampoo has a conditioner in it, but I also use their leave-in spray conditioner with the same scent (I water it down in a separate spray bottle and it lasts forever) and they smell fabulous. I also use the Chris Christensen products for shows but the Buddy Wash is my everyday go-to product.

Shampoo and conditioners

I suspect there are many different favorities...for mine I have had really good results with Miracle Coat...both their shampoo and their leave on conditioner. I mix the conditioner with water (50/50) and spritz them to slightly dampen their coats before grooming...and anytime their coats need a bit of freshening up between baths. It makes their coat more dirt resistant and they smell really nice. :)

Back in July at the dog show, I got a trial size pack of the black on black and it came with a little bottle of ice on ice spray. It's great! Although I don't use it very often (since it's a little trial size bottle).

This is one of those topics where you're going to get a variety of answers because we all have brands we like and work well for our dogs.

I actually found a shampoo and conditioner I really like at the dog show, and was recommended by a flyball friend. It's Pet Silk, and the company is located here in Houston. I got a bottle of shampoo, conditioner, spray, a leave in serum, and several samples for as much as I would pay for just a bottle of shampoo and conditioner at petco. But if you're looking for something you can pick up at a petstore, Here are my recommendations-

1. Tropiclean. I just use the deep cleaning shampoo. It smells like cherries and I love it.
2. Earth Bath Puppy Shampoo- Also smells like cherries.. and they have a detangler spray.. more cherries.
3. I found a conditioner that smells exactly like the shampoo, and it's Viva La Dog Spa Pink Potion Dog Conditioner.

So basically... I probably have enough dog shampoo and conditioner to last me 5 years or so lol. And Missy almost always smells like cherries.
 
I really like Chris Christensen's Day to Day, White on White and Ice on Ice. It always made my dog's fur look fantastic. I ran out of it recently and have been on a bit of an "anti-chemicals" phase, so I looked for a shampoo & conditioner for my dog that is free of dyes, parabens, synthetic fragrances and other known chemicals. (Note: I'm not saying Chris Christensen has harmful chemicals in it. I'm honestly not sure what it's made of. I couldn't find a list online.)

I went with Aroma Paws http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002FYNPSI/ref=oh_details_o09_s00_i01?ie=UTF8&psc=1. I really like it. It's not as good as Chris Christensen, but it comes close and I like that it has natural stuff in.

My dog has dry skin, mostly due to the cold weather and my dry heating system. Rubbing coconut oil on her skin has really helped, but of course it made her fur very greasy. Tomorrow she is going to get a bath with Aroma Paws and a conditioner called Fur Butter http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00115F2D8/ref=oh_details_o00_s01_i01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I haven't tried it yet, but I heard good things about it.
