shampoo

Yesterday I made my own shampoo for their baths this month. There are tons of recipes out there on the net. Koko's coat is horribly damaged, I believe from the infections and long course of antibiotics and the commercial stuff didnt help.

No, I meant for everyday use, as in when they need a bath and aren't being prepped for a show -- sorry if I was confusing!

My guys get baths once a month during the summer, a little less often in the winter, and depending on whether it's muddy or snowy outside.

Show dogs are bathed a few days before they show. So if we're showing two weeks in a row, that means a bath both weeks a few days before. If it's a multi-day show and we're chalking and using product for several days of shows in a row, I give them a bath the day after we get home just to get it all out of their coat. That's when I love the Buddy Wash....wet, lather, rinse and done! Show baths in my house involve four different products so it's a project.
