We've had her out with the sheep about half a dozen times now. When we first went, she was like this, all excited and engaged with the sheep. Then the last three times she basiclly ignored the sheep and wanted to play with me. This video is with Suzanne working her,
i just love watching this vid.
The vid is brill, I love watching Shelties work sheep, I'm determined to prove to my brother that they ARE real sheepdogs. He insists only border collies are good herders
Out of curiosity, what type of sheep were those? I could see they were older lambs, but they appeared to have horns?
I watched your video last night. It was so good. I had Emma watch it (and she did) and told her this is what she is supposed to do. She just gave me the look that said - you expect ME to do that? First, you don't have sheep, and second, will kids do? If I had some sheep, that would really work off some of her abundant energy.
According to the owner of the sheep, those are shetlands! DUH.
She said that there aren't any in here with horns. It's probably the ears we are seeing in the video. She said she seperted out the males a couple weeks ago.
