I would love a "smooth" sheltie. The shorthairs are way more fun, esp. since I go to the forest all the time and those pine needles are crazy on the longhair.

You could try the Doggy DNA. I did the Wisdom Panel one on my shepherd mix. I wanted something semi-official because his head can look wide and people might say he's a pit/shepherd even though the shelter got the parents and puppies so I knew. They were right. It might just satisfy your curiosity.
