Sheltie owners to be from BC, Canada

5 week photo

Emmasmom, you are correct she has an impish look and already we think she is going to give our granddaughter a run for her money as their personalities seem very similar.
Love to be with people and playing is way more fun than sleeping!
Boy do we love her already!
Here is Mystique at 5 weeks.
We are more than half way to coming home day!...

She's finally home!!!

Well we brought our little gal home today. Mystique had quite the journey as there was lots of road construction and some weird snow/hail weather for the drive. She was carsick a couple times  poor baby.
Now that she is home and out of the car she is full of beans. Checking out the cats and trying to get them to play with her toys and very curious about those feathered creatures who lay eggs. Here she is....

What a beautiful little fluffball she is!

Thanks for sharing the picture with us. How is she adjusting?

She is either doing completly amazing or we just don't have a clue and just think she is.
Thanks for asking.
A little carsick on the initial ride home but we have been taking her for little rides every day since and she is doing great in the car now.
Slept through the night from day one (we have been able to get up and have coffee before she stirs in the mornings).
Eating was a little picky for the first two days but that has improved.
House training is coming very well.
She had a great two days playing with our 3 year old granddaughter and slept very well on those nights!
She has been outside in the yard with me most of the day trying to herd the cat and is now hanging out in the workshop with my hubby (in her kennel as that place is puppy eat everything disaster waiting to happen).
We are just loving her!!!
I am off this week and teasing hubby that when I head back to work her angelic "newcomer" behaviour will probably start to wear off and he'll be left with monster puppy.

Monster puppy - Nope. She has him wrapped right around her little paw by now and can do no wrong.

Sounds like she has fit in well.

What a beauty! In that picture, she had an 'okay, the boss is here now' look in her eyes. I think you had better make sure who is training who with that one!

Oh yes! She fits in well with the women in our family :biggrin2:
We have already been working on it's okay to herd animals and toys but we peoples are not into that thank you very much (at least not the nipping at the heels part). She has the same strong willed personality as our granddaughter and they have already become quite the buddies....Yikes!!!
