Shelties are SO smart!

Welcome to the forum. You're came to the right place for information on this wonderful breed.

I started with one from a local breeder and have since adopted two rescues. One is definitely not enough!!!

Pictures, we LOVE pictures. Especially puppies!

Thanks so much for the warm welcome!!! I'd love to share pictures, I just haven't figured out how to do it on here, yet. Can someone school me on on posting pictures?

Also, much like what was said about potato chips and shelties, I have an affinity for cats and happen to have three of them. So Samson lives with three cats, aged 16, 3 and 2. I'm 25 with four mouths to feed, none of which are human. And I'm recently single. Prospects are not looking good for a spouse lol.

Welcome, Lauren! Samson sounds like a total sweetie. Ignore any man who doesn't think one Sheltie and three cats are too few animals for any home. :biggrin2:

Welcome to the forum. I glad you discovered our wonderful breed.

Like others have said be careful. I am trying really hard not to go to 5 here.

Welcome to the Sheltie Nation Forums
Shelties really are the best

PS:Careful of the teenage years, your amazing Sheltie will have a couple of months of teenage years, where all of a sudden he'll pretend he never heard a word of sit or stay LOL

Out of curiosity, do you guys think he should be furrier at 5.5 months? I have Pedigree papers, but I had a trainer ask me if he was mixed with something...I'm hoping his coat is going to fill out. It is definitely growing, but does he look like an authentic sheltie to you?
