My guys would sell their souls for a cheerio.![]()
Hey - Shelties are chowhounds! I've never met one that wasn't. Luckily, our girls LOVE fruits and veggies! I trained my first Sheltie for agility with red bell pepper pieces, which got some strange looks!! But I keep my dogs thin! There's no reason for them to be fat and it's so bad for them.
Asta and Ally love carrots, broccoli, green beans, red pepper, cukes, apples etc. Try it out, they are great for low calories treats. Also, most dogs love pumpkin!
I confess to the occasional, I fed them, left for the gym, hubby comes home and "oh no, we haven't eaten dinner yet" so they get fed again!![]()

Could I ask how big or small the pieces are, especially of the fruit.I'm very interested in this type of treats for the guys.We have tried green beans and small baby carrots.
Any tips would be great. As to how much say for a puppy, for a treat? And should I do regular size carrots instead of baby carrots?
