showing standards?

hey all, i tried goo gone on riley's ears but it really didn't work it just smelt awful and didnt come off even with a bath. Does the unisolve work way better? i ordered it and just waiting for it to come but the ears had come inglued anyway and was going to reglue them with eyelash glue. if i chose to glue them with eyelast glue would the eyelash glue remover work better than the unisolve?

Try baby wipes on his ears to get the grease off.

I use a medical adhesive remover for ear glue. Goo gone seemed to work well on the glue we used but the orange smell really bothered both dogs.

The baby wipes worked really well for removing the slight greasiness from the fur. Better than soap and water or even dog shampoo.

Emma has an underbite and her breeder would not show her. Thank goodness for the underbite (it is not a huge underbite, about 1/4 of an inch or a little more), because I would not have been blessed to get her otherwise. She comes from a long line of champions and has the personality and drive to please that would have made her a good show dog.

is it bad if riley has a bit of an underbite? Can he still show if he doesn't grow out of it

You can show him. Its not a DQ but it is a big fault and he may never win if he doesn't outgrow it. I wouldn't show a dog with underbite as it would be throwing money down a rat hole IMHO.

Yes--it's a huge fault. Lexi, our puppy, has an underbite as well. That's how we ended up with her. The breeder sold her to a pet home since she couldn't be shown.

I think Uni-Solve works much better than goo-gone. We did goo-gone when we first started gluing and yes, it smells awful and also, it irritated Buffy's ears. She didn't seem nearly as bothered by Uni-Solve - I think it's much gentler, not as harsh. She knows the drill and barely reacts at all now when we do her ears... when she was little it was more of a production.
